Get In Touch
My approach is holistic and our work may involve conversation and reflection, exploring patterns and perspectives, working with body awareness and movement, imagery, metaphor, expressive arts or Sandtray Therapy interventions.
About this service
Individual counselling for adults seeking support through difficult experiences, patterns, relationships, transitions or periods of change. Counselling can support you through overwhelming or difficult life experiences, anxiety, stress and burnout, grief and loss, relationship and attachment patterns, boundaries, identity, neurodivergence, life transitions, and reconnecting with a stronger sense of self and agency.
My approach is integrative and creative, drawing from different therapeutic frameworks while adapting the work to each person, their developmental needs, context and way of processing experience. Rather than applying techniques in isolation, I work across cognitive, relational, somatic, creative and experiential processes, alongside psychoeducation where helpful, to support safety, awareness, exploration, agency and integration.
You don't need to arrive knowing exactly what you need or how you want to work. Some sessions may involve conversation and reflection, while others may draw more on bodily awareness, movement, imagery, metaphor, parts work, expressive arts or Sandtray Therapy. How we work together is shaped collaboratively by what is relevant and appropriate for you.
60 minutes - $150
90 minutes - $225
A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available for clients experiencing financial hardship. If cost is a barrier to accessing or continuing support, please feel welcome to discuss this with me.
What to expect
How I Work
Cognitive Exploration & Meaning-Making
Working with thoughts, beliefs, perspectives and patterns, while developing greater awareness of how these shape emotional and behavioural responses.
Relational & Attachment-Informed Work
Attending to experiences of connection, safety, trust and relational patterns, with the therapeutic relationship itself forming part of a collaborative and responsive process.
Somatic & Nervous System Work
Working with sensation, emotional and bodily experience, movement and autonomic responses to develop awareness, build tolerance for internal experience and create greater capacity for choice.
Parts, Self & Integration
Exploring different internal states and parts with curiosity, including their protective and adaptive functions, while supporting greater understanding and integration.
Neuro-Affirming Practice
Recognising and respecting different ways brains develop, process and engage with the world. The work supports self-understanding, self-acceptance, unmasking and authentic expression, while honouring individual needs and building on strengths.
Narrative, Symbolism & Metaphor
Working with story, imagery, metaphor and symbolic language to explore experience, perspective and meaning beyond direct verbal processing.
Creative & Experiential Exploration
Using creative processes, expressive arts and experiential activities to support exploration, expression and new ways of experiencing and understanding.
Mindfulness, Grounding & Resourcing
Building internal and external resources through mindful awareness, orienting, grounding, sensory awareness, imagery and containment to strengthen connection to self, support and the present environment.
Movement, Breath & Embodied Awareness
Using movement, bodily impulses and naturally emerging breath to slow experience down, deepen awareness and explore emerging responses with greater choice.
